OK, so we’re not Palm Beach or Malibu, but Colorado Springs has its share of McMansions. Ever wonder just how large some people live? Here’s an image of the biggest home in the Springs from Google Earth:
And the below photo from the El Paso County Assessor:
According to the county assessor, this humble abode is 22,285 square feet of luxury. Seven bedrooms, twelve baths. I’m guessing there are some huge living areas. A ballroom, maybe? Perhaps an Olympic size swimming pool?

So, would you ever want a house this big? I’ve babysat children in large homes (large, but not this large) and I’d say the only way I’d ever live in a home this big is if it had wings that could be closed up when not in use. Can you imagine playing hide-and-seek in this house?
