Kids in Colorado Springs are used to hunting Easter eggs inside – this is what it usually looks like on Easter! March and April are our heaviest snow months, and it seems there’s a big snowstorm nearly every Easter.
The storm on Sunday was a combination of snow and rain, some much-needed moisture after a pretty dry winter. It’s melted almost everywhere now. Here’s what it looked like on Monday morning from the Discovery Canyon campus in District 20:
And of course, we’re back to 60 degree weather and the lawns are turning green even more quickly after all that snow.
