Realtor Magazine recently published an article exploring the trend of real estate brokerages offering presale “concierge” services to help sellers get their home in tip-top shape before selling.
Well, here at Circa we’re not fancy enough to call it “concierge service” (how do you say that word again?), but we’ve been doing just that for several years.

As part our Selling Roadmap, Jeremy makes recommendations on improvements that can be made to increase the value and appeal of the home. In many cases, it’s what you’d expect: touchup paint, cleaning, maybe some new carpet. (And matching, appropriate lightbulbs. If we’ve sold a home for you, you know Jeremy’s all about maximizing lighting!)
However, some homes need a little more attention. Our clients are often willing to pay for improvements that will more than pay for themselves with a higher sale price, but just don’t have the time to hassle with getting quotes and coordinating contractors.

For our clients that desire this type of assistance, we can take that load off and coordinate it all, saving you approximately 73 phone calls and countless trips to let in contractors. Most often, we do this on vacant homes, but can do it for occupied ones as well.
We are generally able to do this at no extra charge; we just consider it part of doing quality work for our clients.
Some of the Homes We’ve Sold That Used Our “Concierge” Services

6035 Emma Lane had been a rental property for about three years and the owners were ready to cash out and stop being landlords.
The home was pretty beat up, and needed drywall repairs, new paint, yard cleanup, some plumbing repairs, carpet cleaning and stretching and lots of little things like new HVAC vents, smoke detectors, a thorough cleaning. We coordinated all of this with our trusted contractors and kept the seller informed during the process. It paid off, and sold in 2 days!
We Coordinated Final Repairs When This Client Moved Out of State

5265 Whip Trail was in good repair when the sellers hired us to list their primary residence, but they needed to move out-of-state before the home was completely ready to list. Here’s what they had to say about our services:
“When we moved out and out of state before it went on the market, WOW is all I can say – they took care of everything. They go well beyond what they have to make the process as easy as possible.” – Kathryn M. via Google Review
We Handled 8 Contractors and $14K in Repairs for This Home

5025 Ardley Drive was another home where the owner lived out of state and was ready sell what had been a rental for years. This home got more than a light touchup – it needed a budget spreadsheet to keep track of it all! In the end, we coordinated about $14,000 worth of repairs and the seller had this to say:
“From day one, we experienced only the best in friendly professionalism, kindness and incredible excellence in every regard—from preparing our home for the market to the sale and the closing of the same. Simply outstanding!” – George W. via Google Review
