Since our first Circa Christmas event in 2016, we’ve hoped for a white Thanksgiving to take the event experience up another notch – Jeremy’s even investigated snowmaking machines for this purpose. In 2019, we got what we wished for:

At least 15 inches of snow fell at our house in Black Forest early in Thanksgiving week, and we got our postcard-perfect Christmas tree farm event.
What we hadn’t accounted for was the extra time it would take to set up with so much snow on the ground and pretty chilly temperatures, as well as a few extra logistics to figure out with parking and traffic, so we may not be hoping for snow every year!
The trees and wreaths are the main attraction, but a few people said they really come for the hot cocoa, homemade marshmallows, and molasses spice cookies that are a tradition at our event! We’ll give you the recipes – but you have to promise to keep coming to the event even if you can make your own marshmallows.

Each year we try to add something new to the event, and this year we decided to make the event spread joy beyond just our small sphere of influence. For each event attendee that tags us in a photo on Instagram or Facebook, we’ll be making a donation of $10 to the Angel Tree ministry, which brings Christmas to children whose parents are incarcerated.
It’s so much fun for us to see our clients each year and take part in kicking off their Christmas season! We are thankful for everyone who allows us to serve them as they buy or sell a home, and for the time that you take to recommend us to your friends and family.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Colorado Springs’ Circa Real Estate Group! You can see more photos of the event and other Circa happenings on Instagram.
