We are excited to announce that Circa is a founding sponsor for the Pikes Peak Apex, a world-class mountain bike stage race coming to Colorado Springs in September 2020!
Jeremy and I (Carrie) have been enthusiastic mountain bikers for awhile now, and participate in various mountain bike races across Colorado. We’ve been anxious for the Pikes Peak region to its own really-awesome race, so when we heard that a major race was being planned, we jumped at the chance to come on board as a founding sponsor.
Part of Circa’s goal in sponsorship is to make the race experience really awesome for both the fans and racers. Having been in a number of races ourselves, we know that the average mountain biker really appreciates the encouragement of fans along the route cheering us on, so we’ll be providing, oh, hundreds of cowbells for fans to ring to cheer the racers on. Jeremy will also be racing in the Apex, so come out and get your cowbell on for Jeremy!
We’re also excited about the Apex’s mission to use the economic impact of the race to “improve the trails and open space in the Pikes Peak region for the lasting enjoyment of its residents and visitors”. If you use the trail in our beautiful city, you know that they get a lot of use. We’re looking forward to being a part of giving back to the trails and open spaces that we use and love.
